Rating SIGNAL Health Insurance
Security rated as "Excellent"

In a follow-up rating, conducted by ASSEKURATA Assekuranz Rating Agentur GmbH with its registered office in Cologne, SIGNAL Krankenversicherung a.G. (health insurance), Dortmund, has been successful: independent experts have rated the quality aspect  "Security" with the maximum grade: "Excellent". As the total grade, SIGNAL Kranken has again scored "Good" (A). For the purpose of the rating, the agency had access to all internally available information.

Apart from "Security", ASSEKURATA also rated the following qualities: "Customer orientation", "Success" and "Growth".

According to the result of a customer survey, the insured at SIGNAL Kranken are satisfied with "their" insurer to a great extent. The consequent quality management is a decisive factor in this result. This way, the total score for "Customer orientation" was "Good". The quality "Growth" has been rated by ASSEKURATA as "Very good" without any alterations. "The growth rates of the company are moving [...], both with respect to premiums and to persons, at a level beyond the market average", stated the experts. The success status has improved to "Good" due to improved success potential in insurance techniques.

SIGNAL Kranken is the fourth largest company for private health insurance in Germany: in 2004, the company reached a very good result with an increase of the premium income by 7.2 per cent up to two billion EUR. More than 1.9 million persons are insured with SIGNAL Kranken.
